The Gold Never
Touches the Wine.
Look at the stem of a flute and you can see what makes this collection different: the gold is inside it — fine 24K gold suspended within a hollow crystal column, capped top and bottom, sitting on a faceted crystal foot. The bowl itself is plain crystal.
Gold-rimmed glasses put the metal exactly where a mouth goes and exactly where a cloth rubs, which is why they fade. Sealing the gold inside the stem solves both problems at once: it is permanently visible and permanently protected, and what meets the wine is nothing but crystal.

Buying 24K Gold Glassware?
Does the gold touch the drink?
No. The gold is sealed inside the crystal stem, and the bowl you drink from is plain crystal. Nothing metallic meets the wine, and nothing sits where your lip does.
Can the gold wear off?
It is not on a surface that can be rubbed — it is enclosed within the stem. That is the practical advantage over a gilded rim, which fades with washing and use.
Are they dishwasher safe?
Hand wash them. Fine crystal and dishwashers are a poor combination regardless of the gold — warm water, mild detergent, and dry with a soft cloth rather than leaving them to drain.
How many glasses come in a set?
Set quantities vary by piece and are listed on each product page — the tealight holders, for example, are supplied as a set of six. If you need a specific number for a table, tell us and we will confirm before you order.
Is it real crystal or glass with a coating?
Fine crystal, with genuine 24K gold inside the stem. It is not pressed glass finished to look gilded.
