Where its siblings use one or two chevrons, the Nucleus 3.0 Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra stacks four, turning the space below the cameras into a bold ladder of polished metal. Its foundation is a brand-new, unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Working by hand in Dubai, we replace Samsung’s rear glass with a new panel carrying a fine interlocking-hexagon texture, then plate the bars at 5–7 microns in 24K Gold, Rose Gold or Platinum. Of the Nucleus designs in the Rhodium line of our gold Galaxy Z Fold8 collection, this is the boldest.
Each bar dips gently at its centre and shows small screw details, and the four sit evenly spaced beneath a camera surround plated in the same metal. Below them the textured panel runs uninterrupted to a small plated GoldPrivé nameplate. Noir appears in the renders; Verdant, Royale Blue, Crimson Red and Rose Fuchsia are also available at no extra cost. Samsung’s frame and hinge stay unplated.

In close-up, the rhythm of the design comes through: four gold bars, evenly spaced, with the dark hexagon texture showing between them. These accents, the camera surround and the nameplate are the only plated parts of the Nucleus 3.0 Gold Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Samsung’s frame and hinge are left bare of plating so the fold behaves as it should, and the internals are never altered: the two displays, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip, the 200MP camera and the battery all stay original.
Because the core is untouched, Galaxy AI, 5G, eSIM and Samsung updates work as usual. The plated back does stop two things, wireless charging and Samsung Wallet tap-to-pay, since both depend on signals the metal blocks. Charging is therefore via USB‑C.
