Precious Finish, Apple Core The Plated Parts and the Untouched Ones

Your chosen metal goes onto the case and its three controls: the Digital Crown, the side button and the Action button. On the navy strap, only the buckle and loop are plated; the band itself is Apple’s own ribbed fluoroelastomer, left in its original colour. Beneath the surface, the sapphire crystal, display, S11 chip, sensors and battery remain as Apple built them, and so does the sensor back.

Leaving that back alone matters. Apple’s magnetic fast charger locks on as normal, and heart and blood oxygen readings, sleep score and software updates keep working as on any other Ultra 4. The tubular band has a little give for a snug hold: thread it through the plated buckle, pick a hole and tuck the end beneath the loop. Because the length is set at the buckle, whoever receives it can adjust the fit on the day, with no links to remove.

What does Leronza plate on the navy version?

Is this an authentic Apple Watch Ultra 4?

Please keep it out of the water. Although Apple designed the Ocean Band for water sports, the customised watch is not for diving, swimming or showering, as it is not water resistant after plating.
